The Tokina Cinema Vista-C 25mm T1.5 Prime Lens (PL Mount, Focus Scale in Feet) features high resolution modern optics with free form design for visual acuity matching the human eye.
Like many older lenses the Vista-C lenses beautifully flare with red and blue accents, avoiding the more modern green flares often found on newer cinema lenses. They offer intentionally reduced contrast, field distortion and a pleasing edge fall-off. Unlike older lenses they offer refinements like an ultra-fast T1.5 speed; the ability to resolve 8K+ for advanced digital cinema cameras; and modern physical lens construction that offer greater precision and cope better with focus motors. They exhibit virtually no focus breathing.
Vista Prime Redesigned
The new optical formula creates a gentle fall off from subject to foreground with a smooth blending similar to lenses from years ago. Flares are improved with warm colors.

Completely new coatings provide red and blue hues to the flare versus the green color found in the other Vista series lenses and other modern glass. The generous image circle provides coverage up to 65mm large format sensors, accentuating the flares.
