Flexible distribution options allow the Pyro 7 Ultra to send video to up to two mobile apps and four receivers, giving directors, camera operators, clients, and crew members convenient access to the live feed. For larger productions, its broadcast capability can distribute video to up to 20 receivers, providing a scalable monitoring solution for multi-user workflows.
Beyond wireless monitoring, the Pyro 7 Ultra supports video recording to SD cards up to 2TB, providing additional flexibility for capturing and reviewing footage directly from the monitor. Professional HDMI and 3G-SDI input and output connectivity allows the unit to integrate with a wide range of cinema cameras, production monitors, switchers, and other video equipment.

Broadcast Mode
The Pyro 7 Ultra features wireless broadcast technology that enables one transmitter to connect to up to two apps or four receivers with stable, line-of-sight signals. When Broadcast mode is activated, the transmitter can transmit signals to an unlimited number of receivers.
Applications
The long-range, wireless video transmission is ideal for multicamera setups over extended distances, providing key image references to the director, DP, and camera crew. Highly accurate color transmission enables quick review and approval for television commercial capture.
Long-Range Transmission

NOTE: When used with Vcore, the Pyro 7 Ultra functions only as a receiver; when used with Pyro H, it only supports unicast mode, and the Pyro H functions only as a receiver.

The Pyro 7 Ultra features a 7" QD-LCD (Quantum Dot) display with high color accuracy and an ultrahigh brightness of 1500 cd/m² that enables clear viewing whether you are in bright sunlight or dim environments.
Versatile I/O
The Pyro 7 Ultra can be switched to be a transmitter or receiver. When in transmitter mode, the monitor features one HDMI input, one 3G-SDI input, one HDMI loop output, and one 3G-SDI loop output. When in receiver mode, it features one 3G-SDI output, one HDMI output, and one 3G-SDI loop output.
Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH)
With Auto Dual-Band Hopping (ADH) and Auto Frequency Hopping (AFH) technologies operating on both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, the Pyro 7 Ultra can automatically choose the clearest channel for reliable and uninterrupted wireless video transmission. These technologies address common issues such as signal interference, low transmission efficiency, and frequency congestion. The omnidirectional high-gain antennas also ensure stable signals in all directions.
Camera Control and Focus Connectivity
The Pyro 7 Ultra provides camera control functions with select Canon, Nikon, Sony, and other brand cameras. This monitor also supports seamless integration with Tilta focus ecosystems.
Video Recording to SD Card
This monitor features an SD card slot that supports extended video recording using an SD card up to 2 TB. You can also use an SD card to apply custom LUTs during video export. It features file organization and supports a streamlined editing workflow. You can also import data from external devices and ingest on-set screenshots, overlaying them on the current recording screen for scene restoration or replication purposes.
Intuitive User Interface
The Pyro 7 Ultra features an interactive user interface that provides direct access to functions for seamless, efficient monitoring. Functions include:
- Swiping to switch function templates, two-finger touch zoom up to 4x zoom.
- Display parameters, auxiliary video analysis.
- Video playback, custom shortcuts via F1 and F2 buttons.
Professional Imaging Tools
Two custom shortcut keys can be used for dual-view monitoring or to quickly launch professional tools like waveform, exposure, recording, focus assist, and other image analysis functions. A 3-tier design enables you to arrange functions in up to seven template sets.
