The DZOFilm Arles 65-180mm T2.6 FF Zoom Cine Lens (ARRI PL/Canon EF) extends the distinctive visual character of the Arles prime series into a versatile medium-to-telephoto full-frame zoom. Combining high-quality optics, precise mechanics, and a compact form factor, the lens gives cinematographers flexible long-range coverage while maintaining the immersive, painterly depth associated with the Arles family.

Covering a versatile 65-180mm zoom range, the lens is well suited for portraits, close-ups, compressed compositions, and situations where additional working distance is required. A constant T2.6 maximum aperture is maintained throughout the entire zoom range, allowing cinematographers to reframe or adjust focal length while retaining consistent maximum exposure.

A 16-blade iris contributes to soft, natural-looking bokeh and smooth out-of-focus rendering. Combined with the longer focal lengths available throughout the zoom range, this helps create strong subject separation and dimensional imagery while preserving the cinematic character established by the Arles prime lenses.

Designed for full-frame cinema cameras, the Arles Zoom 65-180mm supports both ARRI PL and Canon EF mounts, providing flexibility across a range of professional camera systems and production configurations. Its compact construction also helps make the lens practical for productions that require telephoto reach without an unnecessarily cumbersome setup.

Combining a 65-180mm focal range, constant T2.6 aperture, 16-blade iris, full-frame coverage, PL/EF compatibility, and the painterly Arles aesthetic, the DZOFilm Arles Zoom 65-180mm T2.6 FF Cine Lens provides filmmakers with a flexible telephoto zoom for narrative, commercial, documentary, and professional cinema production.

Telephoto Parfocal Zoom

This Arles 65-180mm zoom covers an essential focal length range with a 2.8x ratio, maintaining a constant minimum focus distance of 35" and a maximum magnification of 0.22x at the telephoto end. When paired with the separately available Arles 25-75mm zoom, the two lenses overlap to cover a truly wide 25-180mm range. The parfocal design maintains focus throughout the zoom range, and the consistent gear positions and similar size enable quick lens changes, even when using a matte box and lens control motors.

Full-Frame Coverage

Maintaining a fast, constant T2.6 aperture from 65mm to 180mm, this Arles zoom lens covers full-frame sensors up to a 43.5mm image circle, maximizing light transmission and creating expansive, three-dimensional imagery with rich textural depth.

Painterly Rendering

A custom, low-saturation blue coating helps the Arles zooms create a modern tone while minimizing flares and ghosting. Their warm, natural color science renders natural skin tones that integrate easily with the DZOFilm ecosystem.

Interchangeable PL Mount

This ARRI PL-mount lens has a short rear flange design, enabling it to be used with a separately available Canon EF mount, offering compatibility with a wide range of cine-style, mirrorless, and DSLR cameras. When paired with Octopus adapters, autofocus adapters, or VND adapters, it seamlessly adapts to mirrorless systems including L-Mount and Canon RF, DJI DX, FUJI X, Nikon Z, and Sony E mounts.

Consistency Across Series

A 95mm outer diameter lets you incorporate different matte boxes or filters in your camera configuration. Each Arles zoom lens has a cine-style design with 0.8 MOD focus, iris, and zoom gears. The focus ring rotates 270°, and the iris ring 100° for precise manual adjustments.
