A fast, precise stepping AF motor ensures reliable autofocus with minimal focus breathing, while the bright f/1.4 aperture enables beautiful background blur and impressive low-light performance.

Optical Construction

Ultra-Compact Design

The 12mm f/1.4 DC achieves the lightest weight of Sigma's f/1.4 DC Contemporary prime series of lenses, making it an excellent option for handheld video and travel photography. Additionally, it features a 20% shorter length than the previous Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN lens, allowing it to easily fit in most bags.
