The Zoom R4 MultiTrak Recorder is a compact, travel-ready multitrack audio recorder designed to help musicians capture ideas and build compositions anywhere inspiration strikes. Combining the intuitive workflow of a classic portable 4-track recorder with modern digital functionality, the R4 serves as a miniature studio for songwriting, demos, and mobile production.
It features two XLR/TRS combo inputs, a built-in microphone, dedicated volume faders, a 2" color LCD, and a stereo 3.5mm output for real-time monitoring. Built-in effects and rhythm patterns make it easy to sketch ideas and develop arrangements on the go. Audio is recorded directly to microSD cards, with support for capacities up to 1TB, providing ample space for extended sessions. A standard 1/4"-20 thread enables easy mounting to a tripod or accessory arm, while nonskid rubber feet help keep the recorder stable on flat surfaces.
