Encode and stream from your camera to up to 20 local or streaming locations to reach unlimited endpoints with the Serv 4K (2024) from Teradek. Updated in 2024, the Serv 4K has an improved OLED display, 50% quieter operation with better heat management, and better mounting options. It allows you to input up to DCI 4K60 4:2:2 video via HDMI or 12G-SDI ports, and it supports 10-bit HDR color. You can output encoded video via multiple methods, including Gigabit Ethernet, dual-band Wi-Fi, and 12G-SDI loop output for monitoring, and there are two USB-C ports that support optional cellular bonding using modems such as the Node 5G. The built-in SD card slot allows you to record your stream locally.
The Serv 4K can stream live to a web server or to the cloud, supporting Teradek's Core cloud, Teradek TV, Frame io, Sony's Ci Media Cloud, PIX, and more. It supports high-quality, low-latency HEVC and AVC compression for clear, high-resolution delivery. Support for 256-bit encryption provides military-grade security for your streams. Other features include timecode sync, run/stop flags, C2C integrations, filename sync, and a maximum bitrate of 45 Mb/s. Power the unit using DC input or via a separately available V-mount or Gold mount battery plate.
