The Oyen Digital 8TB U34 Bolt USB4 / Thunderbolt 4 External SSD is designed with a 40 Gb/s USB4 / Thunderbolt 4 port and equipped with an 8TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD, this U34 Bolt drives sustained transfer speeds of up to 2800 MB/s and is preformatted HFS+ for Mac, but may be reformatted for use with Windows, Android, Linux, and ChromeOS. The U34 Bolt is also compatible with Thunderbolt 3, Thunderbolt 4, USB 3.2 Gen 2, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 hosts and is able to resist shock, vibration, and dust, thanks to its MIL-STD-810F rating. Also featured is a self-cooling aluminum core, bus power, and a Total Bytes Written (TBW) rating of 6000TB. This SSD is driven by the ASMedia ASM2464PD controller, which has USB-IF and Thunderbolt 4 certification.
