When it comes to truly engaging fixtures for in-frame use or for side-lighting subjects from head to toe—it’s hard to beat the 8-foot long Nanlite PavoTube II 60x 8' RGBWW LED Pixel Tube 2-Light Kit with Carrying Bag. The bag can hold up to 4 60X tube lights, power supplies, and basic accessories, and is available separately.
The PavoTube II 60X are undeniably inspiring fixtures for studio use, but the new 2- and 4-light kits encourage you to venture out to shoot in new locations and environments. You can even run these lights in the elements with the ASWTPTII60X underwater housings (sold separately).
Like all PavoTube II X-Series kits, separate power supplies for each light are included. They keep the 60X’s running continuously when plugged into AC for long shoots, and they charge their 20-cell internal batteries.
The new 2- and 4-light 60X kits include multiple accessories for hanging and mounting these sizable pixel tubes. For each tube you get 2 HD-T12-1-C Transparent Mounting Clips with 1/4-20 Receivers, and 2 ASEB Eyebolts. Elastic straps for hanging the power supplies on light stands are also included, as well as 9.8’ (3 m) power cables, and it all fits into the included carrying case.
The only thing that beats shooting with a PavoTube is shooting with multiple PavoTubes, and the longer the tube, the further you can push your creative ambitions. The new multi-light 60X kits are for creators and image makers who want to push boundaries and create visuals that were previously impossible.
