The Protective Case for the Bright Tangerine Misfit Matte Box from Jason Cases is built into a durable Pelican 1550 shell and features a custom laser-cut foam interior with a vibrant tangerine-colored overlay. This overlay adds a bold visual touch while safeguarding the foam beneath. Designed specifically to fit the Misfit Matte Box and its accessories, the case layout ensures secure protection during transport and storage.

The shell of the case is made of ultra-high-impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a neoprene O-ring and easy-open double-throw latches for a watertight seal. It also has a built-in automatic pressure equalization valve for changes in altitude or temperature. The case uses stainless steel hardware and has padlock protectors to provide added strength.

The high-grade, laser-cut foam will store the following:

  • Bright Tangerine Misfit Matte box (Misfit and Misfit Kick versions)
  • Swing-away arm
  • Reducer rings
  • 4 x 5.65" filters

  • 15mm 12" rods

The foam has an extra accessory slot cut into it for miscellaneous items.

Overlay

The overlay is made of an exterior-grade, UV-stable composite engraving material optimal for foam reinforcement and display purposes. The 2-tone composite material uses a high-contrast blend for clear and professionally engraved markings. It provides extra strength and extends the life of the foam by protecting the upper surface, and it permanently adheres to the top layer of foam. It also helps label the spaces for the equipment, so your crew always puts your gear back in the right spot.
