The Fujinon Duvo HZK 25-1000mm f/2.8-5.0 Box Lens (PL Mount) is a box-style lens with an ARRI PL mount, a 40x zoom range, a 1.5x extender, and an f/2.8 maximum aperture at 25mm. It covers both Super35 and full-frame sensors and offers the highest combination of magnification and telephoto reach currently available for cine-style cameras. When used with a large sensor camera, the Duvo HZK 25-1000mm zoom both enables low-light capture and produces impressive bokeh effects, lending an immersive, shallow depth-of-field cinematic look to broadcast and live event production.
The built-in extender expands the zoom range to 37.5 to 1500mm, creating a super telephoto lens. The optical image stabilization function uses Fuji's ceramic ball roller system to enable stable capture while compensating for vibrations in a venue, any operator shake, and windy conditions. Like its Fuji Premier series lens predecessors, the Duvo HZK 25-1000mm zoom offers optimal optical quality. Large-aperture aspherical elements and a fluorite lens help to eliminate ghosting, flares, and color fringing, producing high optical performance and natural images. Select features like auto ISO correction while aperture ramping, automatic chromatic aberration correction, and remote back focus are currently available only for the Sony HDC-F5500 camera.
This PL-mount lens features an f/2.8 maximum aperture which, when combined with a large-sensor, cine-style camera, brings beautiful bokeh and shallow-depth-of-field looks to live events while retaining the control functions of a box-style lens.
The Duvo HZK25-1000mm Box Zoom features a 25mm wide-angle view with an ultrahigh 40x zoom range up to 1000mm and an expanded 37-1500mm range using the built-in 1.5x extender.
Super35 sensor coverage is provided at the 25-1000mm range and full-frame coverage is offered at 37.5-1500mm using the built-in 1.5x extender.
The optical image stabilization system uses Fujifilm's ceramic roller system to compensate for vibration, helping to maintain a stable image even while shooting in windy conditions and to eliminate footsteps and any shaky hand motions.
The automatic breathing compensation corrects for breathing by keeping the zoom focal length synced with the focus.
This longer zoom maintains a maximum f/2.8 aperture from 25-465mm, ramping to f/5.0 at the 1000m telephoto end.
