The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Plus is a compact, broadcast-quality record and playback deck designed for versatility on location, in the studio, or mounted in a rack. This 1 RU, half-rack–width unit runs on universal 100–240 VAC power or an optional 12 VDC supply for portable use, making it ideal for professional production environments.
Equipped with one 6G-SDI input, HDMI 2.0 input, two 6G-SDI outputs, and HDMI 2.0 output, the HyperDeck Studio HD Plus delivers powerful recording and playout flexibility. Loop-through and 3G-SDI monitor outputs, along with reference and timecode I/O, ensure seamless integration into broadcast workflows.
Dual SD card slots enable virtually unlimited recording, while USB-C recording to external disks provides additional storage options. Front-panel transport controls and a jog/shuttle wheel offer tactile operation, and the unit supports RS-422 control, USB control, and Ethernet (1G) remote control and file transfer via RJ45 for efficient deck management. An integrated LCD screen provides clear video monitoring right from the front panel.
UHD 4K Recording and Playback
The HyperDeck Studio HD Plus records UHD and DCI 4K video at up to 30 fps. The 6G-SDI outputs allow fill and key playback up to 1080p60

VTR-Style Controls
Features VTR-style front-panel controls for record and playback; a built-in jog/shuttle wheel provides analog-style control over your playback. Broadcast-style deck control front-panel buttons connect to a dedicated RS-422 output.
Remote
The unit is controllable via RS-422 control and over the Ethernet or USB port
Built-In LCD Monitor
The unit's front panel also features a built-in LCD screen that allows you to monitor input or play back video
Audio Output
The unit features a built-in speaker as well as a 1/4" headphone jack
