OVERVIEW

The Bright Tangerine ONE Tray for the Misfit Kick is more than an ordinary filter frame. It can be used as a Rota Pola, Variable ND, diopter tray & more, all in a single tray. There are many dedicated diopter & rota pola tra ys available, but compared to traditional frames, the ONE Tray offers the flexibility of being able to be used for multiple setups in a double-width tray without compromising your field of view.

The ONE Tray accepts industry-standard filters, giving you the freedom of choice to use any filter manufacturer without needing to buy proprietary or specialised geared filters. There is also no need to buy additional parts like expanding backs for your matte box, you now can use either your diopters, PV or 138mm round filters within a single tray unit. 138mm round filters are securely placed within the frame with no chance of falling out.

The ONE Tray adds geared rotation to any standard 138mm round filter. There is no need to buy proprietary or specialised geared filters. The Clockwork Orange system uses a spring-loaded drive system to provide smooth, buttery rotation whether it’s being operated by hand or a motor.

Whether it’s a circular polariser or split diopter, the filter rotation will always be smooth, consistent and repeatable, with no chance of the gears slipping.

To create a variableND setup, simply add 4x5.65” polariser into the front.The spacing of the two filters has been optimised for better performance, only 0.9mm apart, maintaining field of view.

The ONE Tray can also accommodate diopters up to +2 in strength which can be used for closer focus or macro work. When using strengths of +¾ or less, the front PV stage can still be utilised for ND or diffusion. For creative shots, the ONE Tray can be mounted off-axis to the lens using the separate adapters that mount to either M4 point on the bottom of the tray. Prism flares & diopter effects can then be positioned anywhere in the frame.
