The Canon CINE-SERVO 11-55mm Compact-Servo Cine Zoom Lens (Canon RF) delivers 8K and HDR-ready performance for Super 35 and full-frame cinema cameras. Its 11-55mm range and fast T2.95 aperture natively support Super 35, while a built-in 1.5x extender expands coverage to full-frame, extending the focal length to 16.5-82.5mm at T4.4.
Engineered for cinematic consistency, the lens offers warm color reproduction with accurate skin tones, along with an upgraded V Drive unit for faster, smoother focus and iris control. The RF-mount version also unlocks Canon features like Dual Pixel CMOS AF and AF II, ensuring seamless integration into modern workflows.
The 11-55mm lens can focus on objects 2' or farther away, making it ideal for mounting onto jibs, tripods, or for use in handheld shooting applications.
Large-diameter aspherical lens elements and anomalous dispersion glass ensure the lens can support 8K cameras throughout its zoom range. Chromatic aberrations are controlled from the center to the edge of the image to reduce color bleeding. Internal light-shielding and coating optimization reduce ghosting and flaring.
The lens includes Dual Pixel CMOS AF and AF II with expanded distance measuring to reduce focusing problems when shooting in 4K. Lens position data and Dual Pixel CMOS AF/AF II combine to display focus position on your camera's UI.
When connected to your compatible camera, the CINE-SERVO's lens information is displayed on the viewfinder as well as the lens name and position. Image correction features also become available based on this information, so you can view and adjust peripheral light, magnification, chromatic aberration, distortion, and focus breathing.
Inspired by broadcast zoom lenses, the CINE-SERVO's V Drive unit features focus breathing correction and improved servo performance. An integrated information display and USB-C terminal facilitate easy setup and maintenance of your equipment. Three Hirose 20-pin ports power the drive while enabling remote iris control. The lens supports 12-pin serial communication for standard broadcast systems. A 16-bit value encoder expands your imaging capabilities by communicating accurate positional information. This makes calibration even easier during compositing in post.
An 11-blade iris creates a natural, circular bokeh throughout the aperture range up to T2.95. The odd number of blades creates a soft glow without any overlapping.
