Full Frame Coverage

The Vespid2 series lenses have an image circle that covers full-frame, large-format camera sensors, including VistaVision.

Minimal Breathing and Aberration

Each Vespid2 prime incorporates an aspherical element and retains the excellent aberration control, close-focus performance, and minimal distortion and focus breathing of the original Vespid lens series.

NOTE: The Vespid2 lenses do not support the DZOFilm Koop rear-mount filters.

Lightweight Design

Weighing a relatively light 1.76 lb, the Vespid2 series lenses have a compact, highly mobile form ideal for your gimbal, drone, and handheld capture.

Consistency Across Series

Each lens in the color-matched Vespid2 series features several consistent elements that enable quick lens changes and adjustments. These include a common 80mm front outside diameter compatible with a variety of pro matte boxes, cine-style 0.8 MOD focus and aperture gears, and uniform lengths and weights. The expanded 300° focus barrel rotation enables precise focus pulls, and the new coating on the lens housing reduces reflections.

Cooke /i Technology

Transmit lens metadata in real time using the Vespid 2 series' Cooke /i technology and a compatible camera. Useful for shot replication, video effects, and post-production, metadata parameters include focal length, aperture setting, and focus distance.

Metadata is transmitted directly through contacts on the lens mount or via the LEMO connector, enabling the use of wireless lens control systems and virtual production platforms.

ARRI PL Mount

This ARRI PL-mount 18mm lens provides compatibility with a range of cine-style cameras.
