Add this four-lens ZEISS Supreme Prime Radiance Ruby Set to your Sapphire 7-lens set to complete your collection of prime lenses offering consistent, controlled flaring. In lieu of uncoated elements, the Supreme Prime Radiance series uses a T* blue coating to reduce transmission loss and maintain contrast. These versatile, high-quality primes offer a gently sharp look with smooth focus fall-off and can be lit alternately to produce repeatable flares or a non-flared look. The 18, 40, 65, and 135mm primes in this set are a slightly warmer version than their Supreme Prime counterparts but close enough to use together. Each lens produces a 46.3mm image circle, covering full-frame sensors, and it has a focus scale marked in feet. The PL lens mount transmits ZEISS eXtended lens data and is interchangeable with a separately available ARRI LPL mount.
Each lens is a fast T1.5 yet has only a 95mm front diameter (except the 114mm-front 18 and 135mm), enabling you to use a wide variety of matte boxes from handheld to studio size. Both the focus and iris rings incorporate industry-standard 0.8 MOD and 32-pitch drive gears with each lens in the Supreme Prime Radiance lineup sharing the same gear positions for rapid lens changes. Additional lens features shared with the Supreme Prime series include 300° of focus rotation, a 16-blade iris for smooth, round bokeh, and a removable support foot.
