Designed for versatile accessory mounting and rapid quick-release operation, this kit includes a universal dovetail baseplate, 15mm LWS rod bracket, two rods, an Arca-type riser and receiver, a compact Create NATO top handle, a Create 15mm LWS baseplate, and a halo-style front rigging system. Its modular design lets you use the components together for a complete rig or individually to match your shooting style.
Universal Camera Cage
Any small camera system can be set up for rigging in moments as the Halo forms a square around the camera body, allowing enough clearance for different camera sizes and configurations in a compact form factor.
Creative Baseplate
The Advanced Kit also features the Create Baseplate that provides 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw threads on the bottom and a multi-standard dovetail receiver on top, the Baseplate complements the integrated Universal Dovetail for easy mounting.
The upper and lower dovetail channels make the Baseplate compatible with Arca, DJI, and Manfrotto dovetail plates.
Top Carry Handle
For handheld shooting, the Halo Advanced Kit also comes with a low-profile Short Create Top Handle, which mounts to the top of the cage via the integrated NATO rail on the halo. A small mechanism clicks into place when the handle is exactly centered, making balance easy.
Clearance for Compact Cameras
Hybrid and compact cinema cameras often feature a minimal distance from the lens mount to the base of the camera, causing lenses to collide with standard dovetails.
With the included Arca Riser and Arca Receiver, the camera is elevated to prevent clashing. The mounting setup doubles as a quick release system so you can easily mount and remove the camera to adjust settings or swap out lenses.
Clean Rigging
The Halo offers numerous accessory mounting points, including industry-standard 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw threads.
It also offers MAP and QD sockets, a cold shoe mount, and NATO rails. The rig can support loads up to 22 lb without flexing, which allows for multiple accessories.
Dovetail Base
Made from lightweight, durable aluminum, the dovetail baseplate can quickly mount onto universal dovetail receivers and is fully compatible with both Manfrotto-type and DJI gimbal receivers. The plate features markings to make setup and balancing easy.
The included rod block provides 15mm LWS rod spacing and includes two 15mm rods. It also features a quick release Manfrotto/Arca-type receiver for dual compatibility with Manfrotto tripods and DJI gimbals, and a riser to provide added clearance for small cameras.
Durable Construction
The Halo system is designed with durable anodized aluminum to resist the wear and tear of production. The included Drumstix rods are made from a durable structural alloy with extendable ends to provide sturdy support, even when extended with optional rods.
