Overview

D-Box (Weapon/Epic-W/Scarlet-W/Raven, Power Distribution Portion Only) is for owners of our_Cable-less V-Mount,_Blueshape, of_Gold Mount_that want to add power distribution, standardized remote start/stop, and hot swap abilities to their_RED DSMC2 camera. The completed_D-Box assembly is tool-less for installation and_utilizes our Cable-less interface which attaches directly to the back of the camera body, Base Expander Module, REDVolt Expander Module, and the OffHollywood O-Mods.

Connectors on the D-Box are contoured to match the Expander Modules'_which allow for all cables to be installed with no collisions._The module communicates with the camera and allows any ARRI standard start/stop trigger to be used with the 3pin Fischer port. The DC input on the D-Box is the same as the camera's LEMO allowing for an_AC power supply_orexternal power plate_to be connected to power accessories and camera during a battery change. When both battery and DC input are utilized, the D-Box defaults to the DC input, leaving the battery fully charged.

When combined with V-Mount or Gold Mount plate,_one D-Tap is obscured_by the right side power outputs._Inside the D-Box is a 10A fuse and replacement fuses are included.
