The Cooke AP3 FF T2.4 1.5x Anamorphic 3-Lens Set (Sony E) adds a versatile trio of cinematic focal lengths to your mirrorless production workflow. The set includes compact 35mm, 50mm, and 85mm anamorphic primes designed to deliver Cooke’s renowned optical character with smooth focus falloff, balanced color rendition, and controlled anamorphic artifacts for a refined cinematic look.

Designed for full-frame image sensors, each lens features a consistent 1.5x anamorphic squeeze and a fast T2.4 maximum aperture across the series for uniform exposure and depth of field control. The interchangeable Sony E mount design offers compatibility with a wide range of modern mirrorless cinema cameras, while the lightweight, compact form factor makes the set well suited for handheld, gimbal, and studio production environments.

Three-Lens Set

This three-lens AP3 85mm set comprises 35, 50, and 85mm primes and a single case to hold all three. Each AP3 can be integrated with Cooke spherical lenses or used selectively to emphasize your storyline.

Anamorphic Cooke Look

  • The AP3 lenses produce a balanced look with a strong central image structure, balanced tones, and minimal artifacts.
  • Focus falls off smoothly, and the bokeh in the background highlights has natural tones.

Full-Frame Coverage

Featuring a consistent T2.4 maximum and nine-blade aperture, each lens in the AP3 prime series covers up to full-frame camera sensors.

1.5x Squeeze Factor

The AP3 primes' 1.5x anamorphic squeeze factor provides a good fit with full-frame sensors, reducing cropping when used with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The 1.5x squeeze also enables increased distortion control and a smaller lens size.

Interchangeable Sony E Mount

  • Each lens in this set comes with an interchangeable Sony E mount.
  • The mount can be swapped out with separately available Canon RF and Leica L and M mounts.
  • This design enables you to use it with a wide variety of mirrorless cameras.

Cine-Style Design

The AP3 primes have a cine-style design with 0.8 MOD gears, M82 front filter thread, and a dual focus scale in feet and meters designed for handheld use.
