The amaran Halo 100x Bi-Color LED Monolight (100W) is built for everyday creators working in tight spaces, offering strong output, flexible power options, and intuitive control in an ultra-compact form factor. This point-source COB fixture is brighter than the previous amaran 100x S while maintaining a significantly smaller footprint, producing up to 4,890 lux at 3.3' with its native 85° beam angle.

Built-in NFC enables instant one-tap pairing with the amaran mobile app, allowing quick wireless control of brightness and color temperature.
Designed for flexible setups, the Halo 100x can be powered using the included AC-to-DC adapter via USB-C PD input. It retains the same compact, space-saving design as the 60x while still featuring a reinforced full-size Bowens mount for compatibility with a wide range of modifiers. The Halo 100x is a practical lighting solution for content creators and videographers in need of studio-quality light and more output for small spaces. The lighting adjustments can be made onboard with an intuitive TFT screen that has a simplified colored menu or wirelessly from a distance of up to 262' using your smartphone and the amaran app featuring one-tap NFC capability. Different from the previous 100x S, the Halo 100x runs using an included AC to DC adapter, via USB-C PD input, or with the optional amaran Peak series.

The light can be adjustable from a 2700 to 6500K color temperature range for tungsten or daylight options, offering 0-100% stepless brightness adjustments. Maximum Control
For wireless app control with built-in NFC, you can pair the Halo 100x or multiple lights in the Halo series using the amaran app even before turning it on. More advanced users can opt for a separately available USB-C to 5-pin DMX in and out adapter that gives the Halo 100x wired DMX control capability for integration into industry-standard consoles and software for cues, multi-light looks, and repeatable scenes.

The light is quiet enough for video work at 28 dBA (in smart mode) with the choice of silent, smart, and high fan modes. Despite its compact body, optimized cooling keeps it quiet for sound-sensitive environments.
Wide Compatibility
On the face of the unit is a reinforced full-size Bowens mount that is compatible with an optional mini reflector, mini Fresnel, and a wide array of Bowens mount modifiers. amaran also includes a 1/4"-20 to baby pin adapter with integrated tilting bracket and an umbrella holder, so you get great compatibility with optional umbrellas and stands. Just as the Halo 60x, amaran kept the 100x model ultra-compact at 5.2 x 4.7 x 2.2" yet widely compatible thanks to its full Bowens mount versatility.
Travel-Ready Options
For maximum flexibility, the Halo 100x can also run on the separately available amaran Peak series via USB-C PD. This is possible using the optional Ace E-lock adapter and amaran Peak or the Peak 75 portable battery units. The optional amaran Peak enables 40 minutes at 100%, while the Peak 75 provides 52 minutes of runtime (limited to 60W).
