The Kippertie Risa R-XL Mounting Plate for RED V-RAPTOR XL is a complete top plate for the V-Raptor XL, equipped with a high quality passive pass-through for the top data pins.  With this capability, Risa R-XL is the only solution fully compatible with RED’s original handle accessories and monitor mount. All of the precision gold plated pogo pins are populated, to guarantee compatibility with future accessories using the same port.

The plate carries a wide array of 1/4-20 mounting holes, spaced at combinations of industry standard 9mm centres and RED DSMC3 specific 10mm centres. Arri style 3/8-16 mounts are provided on multiple surfaces for robust mounting of heavier accessories.

Cooling is unobstructed, as are the body mounted D-tap outputs and wireless antennae. The focal plane markings extend to the top plate, and two of the 1/4-20 mounting points are conveniently also centred on the focal plane.

The mounting hardware is captive 1/4-20 stainless steel screws for maximum strength, while anodised aerospace grade aluminium is used for rigidity and light weight.
