The DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel from Blackmagic Design is a step up in functionality from the Micro panel but without all the features of the Advanced panel, and it includes DaVinci Resolve software. It is a portable control surface suitable for those that need to switch between editing and color grading. It can sit on your desktop or in a rack, or be bolted to a surface. As with the Micro panel, it features three high-resolution, weighted trackballs and 12 control knobs for accessing essential primary color-correction tools in the Resolve software. Eighteen dedicated keys on the right side also give you access to the most commonly used grading features and playback controls.

The DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel is a compact hardware control panel that’s ideal for adding color grading to any workstation, and is small and professional enough for freelancers who need to take their panel with them when traveling between facilities. The DaVinci Resolve Mini Panel also features 3 high resolution professional trackballs, 12 knobs dedicated to the powerful primary color correction tools, 33 dedicated direction action buttons, two 5” screens, 8 soft knobs and 8 soft buttons, buttons for switching tools, working with nodes, grabbing stills, navigating the timeline and more.

The new panels include high quality trackballs that are extremely smooth. There is also a row of 12 knobs that provide access to the most creative primary correction features, making it easy to experiment and try new combinations. This means that you have more direct access to features specifically designed to help achieve subtle film looks. The 12 primary knobs can be used to control Y Lift, Y Gamma, Y Gain, Contrast, Pivot, Mid-tone Detail, Color Boost, Shadow, Highlight, Saturation, Hue Rotation and Luminance Mix. We hope these controls help spark a new creative revolution in the way images look on film and television!

The new control panels feature an elegant and durable machined aluminum body with professional, high resolution balanced trackballs. The trackballs provide RGB balance adjustments for lift, gamma and gain, each with a master level control set via a movable outer trackball ring. The new panels are even laid out in a similar way to the DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panel so professional colorists can move between panels as they all work and feel the same!
