Protect your Canon C70 from the rigors of the production day, improve your accessory mounting and rigging options, and add compatibility with DJI and Zhiyun gimbals with the Bright Tangerine Canon C70 Expert Kit, consisting of a top plate, side plate, LeftField baseplate, dovetail plate, NATO top handle, pair of 15mm rods, HDMI cable clamp, riser, and baseplate for use on select gimbals. The components are made from precision CNC-machined and anodized aluminum, creating a lightweight rigid cage for your camera with multiple accessory mounting points and 15mm LWS rod clamps that position your camera to accept 15mm rod-mounted accessories. A sensor plane marking is useful for accurate focus distance measurements when using cine-style lenses.
The Expert Kit features a NATO rail with spring-loaded safety stops on each end, as well as a top handle that attaches to the NATO rail. Additional mounting points include 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 with ARRI-compatible anti-twist divots, as well as QD (quick-detach) mounting points. Stainless steel heli-coil inserts in the threaded mounting points prevent stripping and loosening of the threads over time. The included baseplate features an "Open-Up" design to enable you to easily lift the camera from the dovetail. The included riser and DJI baseplate allow you to mount your C70 on a variety of gimbals, further expanding the usability of your C70 camera. Rounding out the kit is a pair of 9" 15mm rods that are made from titanium, making them lighter and more rigid than carbon fiber, aluminum, or steel rods.
