With size becoming an increasingly important factor in many productions, the Imicro Series was developed to be IDX’s smallest V-Mount battery packs to date. The Imicro-98 is the smallest battery pack in the world at this capacity being over 30% smaller than IDX's DUO-C98 battery. Rated at 97Wh, the Imicro-98 meets the passenger aircraft carry-on limit while remaining useful in many diverse applications. The Imicro’s size is beneficial for users with small equipment and gimbal set ups. The Imicro-98 also includes two on-battery D-Tap outputs. Future accessories will make the Imicro Series your new go-to setup.

The Imicro Series offer increased travel benefits by meeting the stringent passenger aircraft carry-on limit. The Imicro-98 & Imicro-150 prove to be useful in many diverse applications. They’re especially beneficial for users with small equipment and gimbal setups, rigs such as Steadicam for added stability, and anyone looking to use lighter, more compact battery packs for their cameras to name a few. Future plate accessories are planned to arrive early 2020 offering greater versatility.

These models will come equipped with some of IDX’s latest technologies currently found on the DUO-C and IPL Series batteries. These features include SMBus, which gives users vital battery information via viewfinder on cameras such as ARRI and RED. Additional features include two D-Taps (1x D-Tap Advanced), a 5-LED power status indicator, and a V-Torch LED for added convenience in dark environments. The Imicro series offers big features, with a small footprint.
