The Wooden Camera Director's Monitor Cage v3 with Carbon Fiber Handgrips provides a professional handheld monitoring solution designed for directors, clients, focus pullers, and crew members who need a dedicated on-set viewing station. Compatible with virtually any on-camera monitor up to 9", the cage securely supports monitors while offering comfortable portability through dual carbon fiber handgrips, aluminum support rods, a padded neck strap, and a swing-away design that allows convenient access to the rear of the monitor.

Built around a universal mounting plate system, the cage accommodates monitors with 1/4"-20 mounting points located on the top, side, or bottom. In addition to securing the monitor, the design offers space for optional V-mount or Gold mount battery plates and wireless video receivers, helping create a fully self-contained wireless monitoring setup for untethered operation on set.

Version 3 expands compatibility with monitors such as the Convergent Design Odyssey and Apollo recorder/monitors and includes a collapsible sun hood for improved outdoor visibility. Front-panel controls remain fully accessible when mounted, and an integrated Baby pin receiver enables quick mounting on a C-stand for stationary monitoring applications.
