Professional Stabilization

The Ultimate bundle's main advantage over the Roadieographer Pro is its inclusion of the Benro X Series 3XS Lite, a 3-axis smartphone and action camera gimbal stabilizer with a unique foldable arm design that allows for easy storage and travel. With a single press of one of the 3XS Lite's customizable buttons, you can rotate your device's filming orientation from either horizontal to vertical or vice-versa. No rebalancing is necessary.

This tool is ideal for capturing close-ups, angles, and pro-style shots. The companion smartphone app allows you to calibrate your 3XS Lite, adjust parameters, update the firmware, create a panorama, or create a beautiful time-lapse with dynamic motion. The underside of the Benro 3XS Lite handle has a 1/4"-20 threaded hole for mounting the stabilizer to a tripod or using desired mounted accessories. This allows hands-free operation during panorama or motion time-lapse modes as well as during object or face-tracking modes, making it ideal for live-action band shots!

That's not all. The 3XS Lite offers the ability to use an external microphone without interfering with the operation of the gimbal. By using a short 3.5mm TRRS audio cable and connecting your phone to the built-in audio pass-through, you can mount the included Saramonic SmartMic microphone onto the handle of the gimbal for high-quality audio recording directly to your smartphone. Upgraded Camera/Smartphone Mounting

The Pro bundle's main advantage over the basic Roadieographer is its inclusion of the Benro SLIM Travel tripod, a lightweight aluminum tripod that features a slim profile shoulder allowing for the tripod legs to be more compact when folded. It's also easily strapped in and perfectly fitted to the side pocket of the Benro Tourist backpack. With a maximum weight capacity of 8.8 pounds, this tripod is ideal for mirrorless/DSLR cameras and smartphone devices.

The SLIM Travel tripod legs feature anodized aluminum twist locks in three positions that only require a quick half-turn to lock and unlock. The center column can be reversed for low to the ground shots or separated from the legs to be used as a selfie stick. A weight hook is located underneath the center column for windy conditions and is a great place to hang your Benro backpack.

Staying level is made easy with included bubble levels on the tripod shoulder and on the quick-release clamp. The removable single-action ball head has an oversized ratchet-style lock knob for easy operation and a panoramic scale. The ball head includes a blue anodized aluminum Arca-Swiss style quick-release plate with a D-ring 1/4"-20 camera screw. As an added bonus, it also converts to a monopod for those times when room is at a minimum.

For smartphone use and included for flexibility is the all-metal machined Saramonic SR-BSP1C smartphone clamp. This clamp easily mounts to the Benro SLIM Travel in vertical and horizontal arrays while keeping your phone locked in and secure in all shooting positions. In short, no camera, no problem.

Two Microphones for Multi-Camera Shoots

Recording yourself or others in loud or soft dynamic environments can be challenging on any device, but having a quality directional microphone sets you up for success. The Roadieographer Ultimate comes with two microphones so you can shoot with two devices at the same time and capture quality audio to both.

The Saramonic Vmic Mini is an ultracompact and lightweight cardioid condenser microphone that mounts directly to the included Saramonic SR-BSP1C smartphone clamp, DSLR/mirrorless cameras, or any other device with a cold shoe. Since it runs on plug-in power, no batteries are required.

The Vmic Mini lets you capture broadcast-quality sound at the source and improve the sonic impact of your mobile productions. It can be connected to cameras and audio recorders with the included TRS cable or to smartphones and tablets with the included TRRS cable. A separately available dongle is required for use with iOS Lightning or USB Type-C devices.

The all-metal construction, precision-cut body, and unique shockmount make this microphone robust and durable. Its diminutive size allows the mic to be placed in areas that larger shotgun/pencil condenser mics just won't fit. If you're shooting outside, remember to place the included fitted foam windscreen over the mic before shooting; it will protect your mic from wind and weather.
