Returns & Refunds
Unless otherwise stated in the product description on hotrodcameras.com, returns will be accepted on defective products only.

*Selected brand products are not subject to our standard unopened return policy and are always non-returnable, including Angenieux, P+S Technik, Leitz, Cooke, Caldwell, ARRI Cameras, Lenses and Electronic Accessories, Fujinon and Canon broadcast and cinema lenses.*
Items returned and found not to be defective but still in as-new (sealed box) condition may be accepted for return at our discretion, and are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.
You must notify us of a defective product within 5-days of receiving your order. If we are notified and the product is found to be defective, you may exchange the defective item(s) for an exact exchange. Depending on the product, we may at our discretion, offer a refund for the full amount of the original purchase price instead of an exchange.
Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. If payment was made by credit card, once we receive the product we will credit your account. Please allow 10-14 business days for a credit to appear on your credit card statement. If payment was made by check, the refund check will be issued after 10 business days from the date from the date of return.
Please read all conditions below. If conditions are not met, Hot Rod Cameras reserves the right to refuse the return, or to charge a restocking fee of 20%.
How to return or exchange an item:
In order to return an item you need to first obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

Place the original package into a shipping carton.
Please do not place stickers or shipping labels on the original manufacturer’s package.
The RMA number must be clearly written on the outer box. If you received a label in the email, print the label and tape it to the carton.
Ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
Non-authorized product returns will be rejected and returned to sender.
