Hot Rod Cameras uses UPS as our main carrier for most of our shipments unless otherwise specified, we use other carriers, like FedEx as necessary. All orders are packaged safely and securely. We strive to have every order processed for shipping within 72-hours, although for most orders the processing time is generally only 1-business day.
Some special order or custom items may require additional processing time. This is generally noted in the product description. Some custom work can sometimes be handled as a "rush" with an additional fee. Please contact Hot Rod Cameras if you have a time sensitive purchase.
It's worth mentioning to all our clients to use common sense when accepting deliveries from UPS, FedEx, or any other shipper.
Regardless of where you purchase a product, protect yourself from liability! Never sign a delivery receipt until the packaging of any shipment has been inspected thoroughly. It is okay, to refuse to accept the shipment/carton if you see damage is visible. If you request, your delivery driver must wait for you to carefully inspect your shipment.
As the recipient of a package you are responsible to make any/all necessary notations on the delivery receipt after inspection. Failing to note damaged to the packaging or loss/shortages on a delivery receipt releases Hot Rod Cameras (or any other vendor) from liability of shipping damage; therefore, ultimately you are the responsible party for filing any insurance delivery claims with UPS, FedEx (or any other carrier) after the fact. Shipping companies are never as careful with packages as any of us would like them to be, so please make notes with the driver at the time if you see and visible damage to a package.
