First Ever Hot Rod Newsletter

Dear Friends,

This is something new from #TeamHRC. With the cancellation of every industry related event, we thought, how can we keep the community informed? How can we connect with our clients and friends? So we decided to go old school with a newsletter!

We promise not to overdo it. No spam coming from us to your inbox. We hope it will be a fun forum to share, inform and keep up our collective knowledge and skills sharp during this time.

Please let us know if you have feedback or would like to contribute something to the newsletter.

Client Spotlight

Our client, Sandwich.co, shot a unique commercial for Slack during the pandemic, and documented the entire process allowing for a brilliant BTS video to go along with it. We think it's required viewing for anyone looking for clever ways to produce projects remotely.

Check them out below and stay tuned for more to come. We'll continue to post on our IGTV ( @HotRodCameras) and our Youtube channel.

Safe Set Protocols

Camran Rodney Wearing a Mask

As many of you know, production took a huge dip during the shutdown, but it's slowly getting up and running again. As Los Angeles County allows film and television to get back to work, all productions must follow LA County health protocols for film production. The new rules require on-set COVID-19 safety officers to enforce safety protocols; frequent cleaning of areas and equipment; limited filming hours; and the creation of zones separating crew who cannot socially distance or wear masks as part of their jobs.
