The amaran COB 60d S is an ultra-compact 65W daylight Bowens Mount point-source light with integrated controls, full Bowens Mount versatility, and an upgraded LED chipset forenhanced color quality and spectral reproduction.

Featuring an all-new dual-blue LED chipset design, the COB 60d S has improved spectral continuity to achieve stunning spectral reproduction of an ultra-high SSI (D56) of 86, a 19% increase in SSI from its predecessor. The enhanced color accuracy of the COB 60d S can also be seen in its increased CRI [96], TLCI [99], TM-30 RF [96], and TM-30 RG [100] values.

Adjustments can be made locally on the unit with an intuitive LCD screen or wirelessly from a distance of up to 262' using your smartphone and the Sidus Link app. The 60d S offers extended power options and is ready for worldwide use thanks to its included 100 to 240 VAC power supply, but it can also run on separately available NP-F or D-Tap batteries for situations when AC current is unavailable. Equipped with a full-size Bowens mount and a stand adapter with an umbrella holder, you get great compatibility with a wide array of light modifiers. A carry bag is supplied as well for storage and on-the-go productions.

The S series has improved spectral continuity to achieve the enhanced color quality of an ultra-high SSI (D56) of 86, a 19% increase in SSI from its predecessor. Powerful Output with Mini Hyper Reflector

The 60d S emits up to 2940 lux at a distance of 3.3' at 5600K. When equipped with the included mini hyper reflector, the light's output climbs to an impressive 37,800 lux. A soft diffusion cover is included for use with the reflector.

Preset Effects

The light has eight special effects, including paparazzi, fireworks, lightning, faulty bulb, TV, pulse, strobe, and explosion.

Compact and Versatile

The amaran 60d S is as compact as a camera yet comes with full Bowens mount versatility. You can combine it with a large selection of optional modifiers, including the Light Box 45x45, Light Dome SE, Light Dome Mini II, and Aputure Lantern.
